Once exclusively a bakery and sandwich joint, star pastry chef Elizabeth Falkner's Citizen Cake is now a full-fledged restaurant, but it's still a very worthwhile detour. Choose a sweet—cookies, pastries, chocolates, even house-made ice cream—to go from the patisserie case, or stake out a table in the urban-industrial space.
