Tattoo Art Museum Review
Legendary tattoo artist and historian Lyle Tuttle's collection of tattoo memorabilia fills half this crowded tattoo parlor on the edge of North Beach. Exhibits, including equipment, photographs, newspaper clippings, and a stuffed bat, cover everything from primitive tattooing in Samoa (where the bat comes in) to tattooing in San Francisco in the 1960s.
