Fodor's Review

The pistachio meatballs put this place on the San Francisco culinary map. It continues to attract SOMA crowds with Persian influenced dishes, like eggplant dip kashkeh bademjan, and calamari stuffed with Persian-spiced pork. Both the bar and communal table fill up with an after-work crowd getting cocktails and digging into flavorful Mediterranean bites. A sit-down dinner here is ideal for dates, a meal with friends or the parents, or a casual business meeting—the non-tablecloth environment keeps things comfortable. The frozen faloodeh dessert is like a citrusy shave ice with noodles.
