Vegetarians and vegans who tire of being an afterthought (here's the sides menu!) will find a welcoming spot here. Not only is the menu meatless, but the dining room, inside the Hotel California, is a stately wood-panelled affair. Organic and seasonal ingredients include wordly-influenced dishes such as rice flour and coriander seed–crusted oyster mushrooms; pumpkin tamales; and, a gnocchi dish with an Alfredo-esque eggplant cashew cream sauce. The "Frugal Foodie" three-course menu is available Sunday through Wednesday (raw also available with advance notice).
