Fodor's Review

This modern spot, set back from the street in a LEED-certified warehouse, first attracted cocktail hounds because of well-known bartender/owner Thad Vogler. Definitely partake in creative rum libations. Then get comfy at a table, set with recycled denim napkins, either on the planty-perfect patio or in the real looker of a dining room that uses reclaimed whisky barrels as wall slats. The Italian-inspired cuisine with farmers ingredients excels at bread-like items, like flatbread and farinata (a chicpea cake). Plates are meant for sharing, except for the pumpkin whoopie pie. Hands off. The bar gets boisterous at night, but the sophistication of the space entices everyone all age groups, including Sunday brunch. A downstairs room can seat larger groups.
