Fodor's Review

Rooms at this pagoda-style Japantown retreat rely on Asian furnishings, and they wow guests with silk-lined kimono robes, Asian kettles, rice-paper shoji screens, ornamental alcoves, and in most, soaking rooms that come with Japanese-style tubs (one foot deeper than Western tubs); 14 boast redwood saunas. Some rooms offer views of the traditional Japanese garden and waterfall. The baseball-inspired O Izakaya Lounge serves breakfast daily and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Guests who book through the hotel's website receive a complimentary pass to Kabuki Springs & Spa communal baths.
