Single-game tickets, available via Ticketmaster (415/421-8497. www.ticketmaster.com), almost always sell out far in advance. Locals stubbornly refer to the park by its original name, Candlestick Park. In fact, if you ask people on the street how to get to Monster, many won't know (or will pretend not to know) what you're talking about. Ask how to get to Candlestick, however, and you'll be directed without prejudice.
