Craft & Commerce Review
Winner of the 2011 Grand Orchid, one of San Diego's top design awards, Craft & Commerce is one of the several hip, tasty, and not-so-Italian restaurants to open in Little Italy the past few of years. Early in the evening, a young after-work crowd mingles at the bar with well-crafted cocktails and mini bacon-wrapped corn dogs. Dinner brings gastropub fare like fried chicken with buttermilk slaw, mussels, and a thick burger with red onion confit. It can get quite crowded on nights and weekends; go at lunch for a more relaxed vibe and a better look at the award-winning funky decor.
