Sushi Diner Review
With Rastafari flags, surfer videos on loop, and Bob Marley-inspired sushi rolls, chef/owner Daisuke makes it clear that this is a place to chill. The tiny and always bustling restaurant has a loyal following of locals who don't mind waiting for tables because of the friendly service, inexpensive sushi, and tasty island-inspired extras like Spam fried rice. Vegetarians won't have a problem here; there are several veggie rolls, tofu dishes, and meatless appetizers. During the 4-7 pm happy hour, many appetizers and hand rolls are 99¢ with the purchase of a beer.
