Now a member of the Kimpton Hotel group, the Palomar (formerly the Sè San Diego) retains its luxurious ambience. Rooms have flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, and Brazilian walnut floors, and the full-service spa features steam rooms, soaking tubs, and a special spa suite for couples. Cabanas and daybeds ring the infinity pool at the rooftop lounge, where you can mingle with locals, who love the scene.
