Welk Resort Review
At this time-share property built by bandleader Lawrence Welk in the 1960s, nicely furnished and appointed one- and two-bedroom villas include fireplaces, hot tubs, original art, and balconies or patios. The resort complex sprawls over 600 acres of rugged, oak-studded hillside and is family-friendly, with abundant children's activities, such as Family Classic Movie Night, waterslides, splash zones, and sports. A museum displays Welk memorabilia, and the Lawrence Welk Theater presents a popular year-round season of Broadway musicals.
