On Coronado's main drag close to shops, restaurants, and the beach, this two-story motor inn is one of the island's best deals. Crown City may lack the amenities and prestige of Coronado's bigger and better-known lodgings, but many guests return here year after year. Bathrooms were remodeled in 2012 and now have slate floors and glass-enclosed showers. An afternoon reception of complimentary cookies and iced tea is served in the lobby.
