King's Fish House Review
This warehouse-size restaurant is wildly popular with shoppers at Mission Valley's many malls, owing to extremely friendly and efficient service, tanks filled with lively lobsters, and a daily-changing menu with a fine selection of freshly shucked oysters. Specialties include New Orleans–style barbecued shrimp and a New England clambake complete with red potatoes and sweet corn on the cob. Seasonal fish and shellfish are char-grilled, deep-fried, sautéed, steamed, or skewered, and the menu obliges meat eaters with a convincing cheeseburger, roasted chicken, and grilled sirloin. When jammed, the scene recalls a train station—and sounds like one, too.
