Marriott Residence Inn Downtown Review

A home away from home for urbanites, the all-suites hotel opened in November 2009. Guest rooms have tan and maroon accents, dark wood furniture, and kitchens equipped with stainless-steel appliances. In a new building a few blocks from PETCO Park and the San Diego Convention Center, the hotel has a spacious common area downstairs with a bar, a snack shop, and a cafeteria-like dining room where hot breakfast is served daily. Active business travelers will appreciate the fitness center and heated pool located on the third-floor roof.
