Saffron Noodles and Saté

Fodor's Review:
Comfortable outdoor tables on a narrow sidewalk and inexpensive prices make this and the neighboring Saffron Thai Grilled Chicken takeout worth a short detour from Old Town. The simple menu has spicy and mild noodle soups; stir-fried noodles with chicken, beef, pork, or shrimp; a couple of uncommon Vietnamese and Thai-Indian noodle dishes bathed with aromatic sauces; and the namesake grilled chicken skewers. The latter are served with jasmine rice, tart-sweet cucumber salad, and savory peanut sauce. The place is plain but pleasant.
