Fodor's Review

Perfect for beer lovers with kids, this popular, laid back Coronado brew pub sometimes seems to have more strollers than bar stools. They even use Kraft Macaroni & Cheese for the kid’s meals. Enjoy a brew at a pair of sidewalk terraces or belly up to the bar and a new batch being made. There's a good selection of house-crafted beers such as the Islander Pale Ale (IPA) and Mermaid's Red Ale. The menu offers large portions of basic bar food like burgers, sandwiches,

garlic fries, onion rings, chowder, pizza, and salads. Service can be uneven.

Beer and Burger Heaven

I'm certainly going to return to the Coronado Brewing Company because the choice of beers is outstanding and the burgers amazing. The decor, in warm dark woods with two fireplaces, gives the restaurant a cozy friendly beer hall ambience. Although our server was stretched to the limit with tables, she was friendly and professional and attentive. A great find.
