Modest, family-style, and wonderful, this is in some ways the most likable of Convoy Street's Asian restaurants. The tiny establishment loads its tables with bottles of aromatic and spicy condiments for the boiled, steamed, and fried dumplings that are the house specialty. These delicately flavored, hefty mouthfuls preface a meal that may continue simply, with honey-glazed shrimp, or elaborately, with mini braised pork shank. Ask about daily specials, such as shredded pork in plum sauce served on a sea of crispy noodles. You may bring your own wine or beer; the house serves only tea and soft drinks.
