Fodor's Review:

Universal, which opened in Spring 2008, is the latest project from the team that created Stingaree and Bar West. The "omnisexual" club, outfitted in high-gloss black and snakeskin, has a dance floor and enclaves for lounging. It's connected through a fire pit-centric garden patio to a restaurant, Dish, where a diverse crowd (gay, straight, who knows) nibbles on upscale comfort food. Bottle service at the bar features a variety of tasty mixers suited to the type of liquor requested.
