Holiday Inn Express-La Jolla

Fodor's Review:

Many rooms at this modest property in the southern section of La Jolla are remarkably large, with huge closets. In 2007 the hotel lobby and rooms received new decor, including beds, furniture, and floor coverings. It's not in the heart of La Jolla, but this is a good value for families who want to stay in La Jolla and still have a few dollars left over for shopping and dining. Continental breakfast is included. Pros: Large rooms, recent upgrades, good value. Cons: Not centrally located, pricey for a chain hotel.
