Fodor's Review:

The Hyatt is in the Golden Triangle area, about 10 minutes from the beach and the village of La Jolla. The postmodern design of architect Michael Graves's striking lobby continues in the spacious rooms, where warm cherrywood furnishings contrast with austere gray closets. Fluffy down comforters and cushy chairs and couches make you feel right at home, though, and business travelers appreciate the endless array of office and in-room services. The hotel's four trendy restaurants include Trulick's. Rates are lowest on weekends. Pros: Many restaurants, modern rooms, upscale amenities. Cons: Busy hotel, not centrally located.
