Fodor's Review:

The hotel blends discreetly into the Torrey Pines cliff top, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the 18th hole of the Torrey Pines Golf Course, site of the 2008 U.S. Open. Oversize accommodations are simple but elegant; most have balconies or terraces. The menu at the hotel's restaurant, the Torreyana Grille, changes with the seasons. Pros: Ocean view, near golf, large rooms. Cons: Not centrally located.

I had the best time taking advantage of the hotel being located right on the Torrey Pines Golf Course. Getting tee times was easy all I had to do was make one phone call to the hotel contact. How often can you golf on the same course Tiger Woods has dominated?
