On a hill above town, this lodge and five Craftsman-style cottages have a sweeping view of the countryside. The luxurious backcountry accommodations are decorated with antiques, original art, and handcrafted quilts. Some of the cottage suites have see-through fireplaces, double whirlpool tubs, and wet bars -- even private patios or balconies. Guests gather in the late afternoon for wine and hors d'oeuvres in the Great Room, where a fire blazes in the stone fireplace. Breakfast is included. Dinner is served nightly except Monday and Wednesday to guests only at an extra charge.
