Picture yourself in a French château surrounded by vineyards, brilliantly colored gardens, and softly rolling hills. Rooms at this inn offer that view and more from balconies or patios. There are fireplaces, French-style furnishings, spacious bathrooms with granite counters, and two-person hot tubs. Public areas include a dramatic two-story lobby, and a wine-tasting room with gift shop. Outside you can stroll through manicured formal gardens. A full breakfast served in the room and an afternoon wine reception are included in the price. Pros: Very spacious rooms, beautiful landscaping. Cons: Service just okay, public areas are noisy.
