Oceanside City Beach

Oceanside City Beach Review

Swimmers, surfers, and U.S. Marines (from nearby Camp Pendleton) often come to play here. The surf is good around the Oceanside Pier near the foot of Mission Avenue and on either side of the two jetties. Self-serve RV camping is permitted in the parking lot at the northernmost end of Harbor Beach. There's no tent camping. There are plenty of pay lots and meters around the pier and also in the Oceanside Harbor area. Best for: accessibility, long walks, fishing pier, swimming. Amenities: lifeguard year-round, RV camping facilities, food concessions, grills/fire pits, parking, picnic tables, playground, showers, toilets.
