San Elijo State Beach Review

There are campsites (800/444-7275 www.parks.ca.gov for reservations) atop a scenic bluff at this park, which also has a store and shower facilities plus beach access for swimmers and surfers. Sites run $35 for inland and $50 for ocean lots. Best for: camping, families, surfing. Amenities: lifeguard year-round, parking, grills/fire pits, picnic tables, showers, toilets.
