Fallbrook Art Center

Fodor's Review:

Housed in a typical mid-century modern building that served as the Rexall Pharmacy for 30 years, the spacious center hosts more than a dozen local and regional art shows yearly. The center hosts the annual Gourd and Fiber Fine Art Show, and also lures a number of national touring art shows as well, among them the National Watercolor Society Show, and Reflections of Nature. The Café des Artistes, tucked into a back corner of the center, serves salads and sandwiches, plus grilled items for dinner.

  • Cost: $5
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-3; occasionally closed between shows. Café: Closed Sun. No dinner Mon.-Thurs.
