Coronado Beach
Coronado Beach Review
With the famous Hotel Del Coronado as a backdrop, this sandy white beach is one of San Diego County's largest and most picturesque strands. It's perfect for sunbathing, people-watching, and Frisbee tossing. Exercisers might include Navy SEAL teams or other military units that conduct training runs on beaches in and around Coronado. There are picnic tables, grills and fire rings, a playground, and (on the northern end) a dog run. Free parking is available along Ocean Boulevard, though it's often hard to snag a space. Amenities: food and drink, lifeguards, showers, toilets. Best for: walking, swimming.
