Fodor's Review:

Within walking distance of AMN Healthcare, Peregrine, Fair Isaacs, and other companies in the Carmel Valley Corporate Center, this is convenient for business travelers. It's adjacent to two freeways and apt to be noisy outside. However, guest rooms are quiet, decorated in warm rust and orange colors, and have original watercolor paintings on the walls. Public areas are homey, with comfortable sofas and fireplaces in the lobby. The pool area, renovated in 2008, holds a collection of private cabanas with flat-screen TVs and some outdoor fireplaces. The Arterra restaurant is locally popular. Pros: Friendly ambience in public areas, lots of wonderful art. Cons: Noisy in outside public areas, rooms are on the small side.
