Cardiff State Beach Review

This beach, popularly known as George's, begins at the parking lot immediately north of the cliffs at Solana Beach. A reef break draws surfers, although this stony beach is not particularly appealing otherwise. However, a walk south gives you great access to some of the secluded coves of Solana Beach. Pay attention to the incoming tide or you may have to wade or swim back to the parking lot. Best for: surfing, swimming. Amenities: lifeguard, parking at small lot and on street, showers, toilets.
