Queen Califia's Magical Circle

Fodor's Review:

The last work by sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002), Queen Califia's Magical Circle is a sculpture garden consisting of nine totemic figures up to 21 feet tall. Adorned with stylized monsters, animals, protective deities, geometric symbols, and crests, they evoke ancient tales and legends. Saint Phalle designed the garden for the entertainment of children, who can scramble around and on the giant fanciful figures.
