With some 300 seats, this ocean-facing restaurant (pronounced Jordana), in the beach-chic boutique-style Tower23 Hotel might sound overwhelming, but the seating is divided between a long, narrow outdoor terrace and a series of relatively intimate indoor rooms. Chef David Warner prepares modern steakhouse fare including chops and steaks with sauces of the diner's choosing, lightened with lots of seasonal produce and a raw bar menu. Weekend brunch and lunch have a similar appeal, with dishes like crab cake eggs Benedict with citrus hollandaise, a blackened mahi mahi sandwich, and a summer melon salad. On Fridays and Saturdays the bar is the place to see and be seen in Pacific Beach for under-30 types, and it's jammed after 9 pm.
