Hotel Solamar Review

The hip Solamar is best known for its pool-side rooftop bar, LoungeSix, and stylish lobby decor. Guest rooms reflect this urban escape's fun side with polka-dot bed throws, Frette sheets, and zebra- or leopard-print robes. The flat-screen TVs have CD players and connect to the Yoga Channel; Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Some rooms offer Jacuzzi tubs and some have patios opening onto the pool area, where LoungeSix is lighted by fire pits and illuminated palm trees. Jsix, the hotel's restaurant, serves a diverse, seasonal menu with an emphasis on ingredients from sustainable farms and fisheries.
