Fiesta de Reyes

Fiesta de Reyes Review

Within the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, Fiesta de Reyes exudes the easy feel of Old California. Friendly shopkeepers dressed in period attire host a collection of boutiques and eateries around a flower-filled square whose design reflects Old Town circa the 1850s. Many of the shops stock items reminiscent of that era. Visit Fiesta Cocina for festive kitchenware, Temecula Olive Oil for local olive oils and artisan foods, Hot Licks for gourmet hot sauces, and Hacienda de Las Rosas for wines and tastings. The Tile Shop carries hand-painted Mexican tiles, Geppetto's specializes in classic wooden toys, and La Panaderia sells baked goods made using early Mexican cooking methods. Two restaurants, Casa de Reyes and the Barra Barra Saloon, serve Mexican food. Shops are open daily from June to November.
