This good-looking Convoy Street eatery has won hundreds of loyal fans, not only because of the quality, variety, and authenticity of the cooking, but because a value-priced late-supper menu is offered nightly from 9 to 11 PM. Dishes not to be missed include the stir-fried shrimp with lettuce "taco," country-style mei fun noodles, the one-of-a-kind sautéed cruller with pungent Chinese chives, and panfried lamb chops in black-pepper sauce. Tanks teem with seafood, all priced according to the market. The dim sum dumplings and pastries served at lunch may be San Diego's best.
