Fodor's Review:
Soma is a name that has been associated with the San Diego music scene since the '80s. Now near the Sports Arena, this all-ages club occupies a former cinema multiplex converted into two concert halls. A smaller room features local acts while the huge main hall hosts some of the top touring indie rock and punk bands. Regardless of the room, Soma crowds love their mosh pits. There's no seating, so the uninitiated are advised to stand on the sidelines.
