This huge club in a former bank building used to be the hottest destination in town, but looks more and more like a dinosaur as the Gaslamp evolves around it. Still, on Friday and Saturday nights—the only nights it's open—scantily clad twentysomethings wait in a line that sometimes reaches around the block. Cover charges are steep and ordering drinks is a hassle, but the cool decor—marble floors, Greek columns, and original vault doors mixed with modern design elements—make
it worth a visit, as do the computerized light shows, Leviathan sound system, and skilled DJs.
