Fodor's Review:
Hot dog! Fans of Chicago-style hot dogs know where to go when they get a craving for Windy City sidewalk cuisine. The decor -- mostly built around Chicago Cubs memorabilia -- is imported from the City of the Broad Shoulders, as are the Vienna-brand beef hot dogs, and even the steamed poppy seed buns. Garnish a dog your way, or take it Chicago-style, which means piled with mustard, onion, relish, chopped tomatoes, tiny hot peppers, celery salt, and dill pickles. A basket of fried-to-order potato chips is almost obligatory with hot dogs, juicy Italian beef sandwiches, or chili cheeseburgers. At its most ambitious, the menu at this great budget choice offers impressive barbecued ribs.
