Hodad's Review

No, it's not a flashback. The 1960s live on at this fabulously funky burger joint. Walls are covered with license plates, and the amiable servers with tattoos. Still, this is very much a family place, and Hodad's clientele often includes toddlers and octogenarians. Huge burgers are the thing, loaded with onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and condiments, and so gloriously messy that you might wear a swimsuit so you can stroll to the beach for a bath afterward. The minihamburger is good, the double bacon cheeseburger is breathtaking (and artery-clogging), as are the onion rings and seasoned potato wedges.

This great beach burger joint was great!!! We were probably the oldest customers there, but it was by far the best burger we've eaten in ages!!! We highly recommend stopping by Hodad's for a bite...plus, shirt and tie not required!
