Chez Loma Review

A favorite with guests at nearby Hotel Del Coronado, this restaurant is tucked away on a side street. Chez Loma is located in a former private home with plenty of windows, attractive lighting, and an upstairs Victorian parlor where coffee and dessert are served. The more elaborate dishes among the carefully prepared French bistro menu are boeuf bourguignon, rack of lamb with balsamic marinade, and roasted salmon in a horseradish crust. The solid selection of desserts includes classics like chocolate soufflé and crème caramel. A specially priced early dinner menu, and two choices of fixed-price menus for $40 or $45 offer more value than the à la carte selections.
