A San Diego County favorite for children's parties and other family occasions, Corvette Diner rolled into a new location in 2009, but still showcases a real Corvette (changed yearly) in a kitschy, 1950s-style dining room dominated by vintage movie posters and singing servers. The new digs also features a train-style dining car with old movies playing in the "windows." The menu has what you'd expect—macaroni and cheddar, plump burgers, piled-high deli sandwiches, spaghetti and meatballs, greasy chili-cheese fries, and thick milk shakes. The daily "Dine and Play Packages" include game cards.

This is the place to go for families looking for a great eating establishment that everyone can enjoy. The food is purely Americana...burgers, shakes, fried chicken, meatloaf...But, that's what it's supposed to be. The entire diner is themed with a 50's flair and the waitstaff is the most entertaining you're going to find at ANY restaurant.
Where else can you get a guarantee on a hamburger made with Peanut Butter...(if you don't like it, it's free!)
If you're a food snob, sure you might want to think twice...but, if you're in the mood to have a great night out with friends and family, listening to some great golden oldies...THIS is the place to be!!
