Fodor's Review

Get your Irish on at this family-run pub imported piece-by-piece from Ireland and reassembled in the Gaslamp Quarter. Home-style meals, traditional brews, and Irish music draw diners here from around the world. Menu classics include corned beef croquettes, Irish stew, fish-and-chips, corned beef and cabbage, lamb sliders, and—best of all—the burrito-like boxty, a thin, crisp potato pancake stuffed with savory fillings like Irish bacon and cheese. As the evening wears on, the crowd grows younger, livelier, louder, and sometimes rowdier. A traditional Irish breakfast is served on weekends, and there’s dancing and live music many nights of the week.
