Fodor's Review

The modern and inviting space that is Roy's Restaurant overlooks the marina from inside the downtown Marriott Hotel and showcases chef Roy Yamaguchi's version of Hawaiian cuisine, with an additional chef’s menu from local chef-partner Jessie Glessner. Inventive sushi such as a delicious surf-and-turf roll draped in Kobe beef and Roy’s signature blackened island ahi give way to delicate lobster pot stickers and Szechuan baby back ribs. Entrées run from the original

macadamia-crusted mahimahi in lobster-studded beurre blanc sauce to a spicy seafood hot pot and salt-crusted rib eye. Desserts, like a hot chocolate soufflé, are served with island-style warmth.
