The focus of the menu at this steakhouse just a few blocks east of the Convoy Street restaurant row is meat, grilled and served with zesty chimichurri sauce. Choices include rib eye, filet mignon, and strip steaks, along with marinated boneless chicken, lamb, and the seafood of the day. Reasonably priced and served for two or more, the "Parrillada Pampas" is a grilled-at-the-table mixed-grill feast of beef, spicy sausage, and sweetbreads. The spacious, lively restaurant is gently lighted and decorated with paintings that strive for the romance of the tango. There's live music on weekends—and a tango the last Friday of the month.

My husband and I have enjoyed Pampas on the several occassions we've been there. Their beef empanadas and baked provolone appetizer can not be beat. Delicious! A family owned and run restaurant, we appreciate and enjoy their company and service. They've recently updated their wine list and we love going their for a special occassion or just to hang out in the bar and watch soccer. The location is a bit out of the way...but well worth the trip!
