Hip and happening, this East Village gastropub buzzes with crowds drawn to a beer selection many say is second to none locally. Twenty-six craft brews are on tap, with dozens more available by the bottle. Whiskey flights from the extensive spirit list are around $20. There's no ketchup in the house—the young owners don't want anything to mar the flavor of their burgers topped with pickled daikon or spicy Cajun sauce. Fries are dipped in garlicky aioli and onion rings in mustard-seed mayo. Also highly recommended are the smoked, porter-braised beef ribs, the bacon-wrapped mini-dogs and butter-poached mussles.
