This small converted house with about 10 tables in North Park serves some of the best authentic Lebanese fare in San Diego County. It’s not fancy dining. Shawarma, baba ghanoush, and baklava fans line up at one small window to order, pick up at another, and enjoy large portions of Mediterranean fare under a covered patio. Sajj, a superheated oven, cooks the flat bread mostly used for wraps like garlicky marinated chicken, hummus, and eggplant. The hearty seasoned ground beef "kafta" plate includes hummus, rice, salad, and pita bread. The ultimate ending is the buttery pistachio and cashew baklava. Kids are welcome with a special kid's menu that includes a pita cheese melt and a Nutella hazelnut chocolate wrap.
