Fodor's Expert Review 100 Wines
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Locals of every stripe share good times at this relaxed Hillcrest bistro, so expect much laughter and toasting during meals in the cozy bar, dining room, and comfortable patio warmed by a fireplace. The value-packed wine list is the focus here, with unusual varietals and blends from around the world. Crisp cauliflower with pancetta and a trio of lamb meatball sliders easily make a meal and are bargain-priced during happy hour. Pastas and flatbreads are entrée options along with scallops and risotto, oven-roasted chicken and crispy duck. Topping the short but sweet dessert list is a popular warm iced cinnamon bun and Ménage A Trois, a triple chocolate extravagance.
