Woodland Opera House

Woodland Opera House Review

This 1896 structure hosted minstrel shows, John Philip Sousa's marching band, and early vaudeville acts before closing for six decades (a sad saga that involved a penny-pinching Hershey's chocolate heir). Now restored, it hosts plays, musicals, and concerts. If the box office is open, ask for a backstage tour or a peek at the auditorium.
