Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza

Fodor's Review:

This high-rise hotel has modern rooms—renovated in 2005—and the best location for visiting Old Sacramento and the Downtown Plaza. It's also within walking distance of the Capitol. Pros: Ultimate central location, top floors offer good views, decent on-site restaurants. Cons: Next to a busy freeway.
