Fodor's Review:

Restored by the State of California, this 1857 hotel features rooms with antiques and private half baths. (There are separate men's and women's showers.) If you occupy one of the five balcony rooms, you can sit outside with your morning coffee and watch the town wake up. Pros: Clean rooms, authentic, friendly. Cons: Ground floor can be noisy, some rooms are tiny.
