As the name implies, this cozy midtown bar and restaurant serves tapas (small plates of meats, seafood, chicken, and veggies shared at the table). One of Sacramento's liveliest yet casual nightspots (it's open until midnight), Tapa presents live Flamenco shows the fourth Saturday of every month at 11 PM.

For a place that has $600 bottles of wine on their wine list, I expected a little more. While the food was good, the atmosphere left much to be desired. Very cramped with tiny tables and not enough room for a basket of bread, four tiny plates and two glasses. The same song was repeated over the stereo system the entire time, like a Spanish "It's a Small World." Service was quick, wait staff very casual. The Chicken Pasta was delicious, but could have used more chicken.
